Wanted: Used stock strut

I am looking for an old front strut from an e46 m3. It can be old and nasty - I am going to cut it up for a project I'm working on. Unfortunately I threw mine away when I went to Konis.

Hoping to find one in the bay area, let me know if you have something

Just to be clear, I'm looking for a free stock shock in the bay area and I will pick it up or pay for shipping. Anyone got one laying in the corner of the garage?

I've got ST shocks, granted they're not oem but for the m3. If you can use it, they're yours for free, I'm in the area.

Thanks to cudzich09 I got one strut and did some experiments with it.

I am now looking for your old blown clapped out Koni yellow strut (or whatever condition it is that you'll give away )
