I recently switched to a race style Karbonius airbox from the standard CSL style one that I purchased in 2018 and installed summer 2019. I’m selling the standard one here. The car and the airbox since the install have about 3000 miles on them. It’s in pretty flawless condition and will come carefully packed and insured in the Karbonius shipping box. Includes the airbox and unfiltered section as well as the certificate of authenticity and invoices. Detailed pictures attached and more available upon request.

Since the item is sold, to help those unaware of the current prices, you can buy the latest version of this airbox direct from Karbonius for 1700 plus shipping which is on average $200 depending on your location. Some get charged other minor fees while most just pay what I mentioned. This is due to euro dropping in value relative to USD. This was a fair deal here for a used box but I’m just letting these who missed out know that they can get an amazing deal on a brand new box at the moment. Cheers

Is the flap the primary difference between the standard and race boxes? And, if so, does it make big enough difference in performance and/or sound to warrant a change?
