Am I correct that going from power rails to manual rails on stock seats will lower the seating position / height? If so, do you know the height reduction? Assume an inch or two, but anything helps.

My car came with manual seats so I couldn’t tell you definitively. However, my guess would be yes. The seat height adjustment mechanism is in the actual seat itself. So you lose that adjustment with whatever aftermarket seat you chose. This is why most seat brackets come with either spacers or vertical adjustment holes depending on the mounting style.

Maybe other can chime in with their experience.
