Out of curiosity, how long did you run them before taking them off the car? The ones I put on my E36 were awful at first but quieted down significantly after about ~50 miles.

About 5 kilometers! Maybe I should have given it more time, I'll keep focusing on the rear end with new camber arms and I'm doing a custom KW Clubsport for the damper/spring/plate combination. I'll revisit front arms afterwards.
