FS: BMW E46 M3 / non-M jig RACP repair replacement panel alignment

I am selling a custom made jig used for RACP (rear axle carrier panel or commonly known as rear subframe panel) replacement on 1999-2006 BMW E46 M3 or non-M.

It will allow perfect alignement of the new panel without having to replace the RTAB pockets cause they don’t need to be replaced 99% of the time while doing RACP failure replacement panel.

    Price: $1250 shipping included

      Thanks.

When replacing the RACP, keeping the stock RTAB pockets on the car really help installing the new RACP in place with this jig. It helps with perfect alignment and also you can put force on this jig to push the RACP to the right place. I did it on my garage floor using floor jack but it will also work on a lift with screw jacks.

Otherwise, you would have to put a lot of pressure on a new RACP to push it in the car and if you don’t put that force at the right spot there is chance to damage the new RACP.

Also since new RACP is mount to the jig, you can’t twist it while welding. The front and rear mounting points of subframe will be at the perfect right spot once the job done.

I don’t want to get rid of it but at the same time I wish I don’t have to do another one haha.

Shop around here charge 10000$ to replace a RACP but after doing it myself I understand why. It’s a lot of hours to do it properly!

To anyone that has to replace a RACP, I strongly advice to do CMP front/rear Topside reinforcement at same time.

Shipping would be a deal breaker. Shipping price in Canada are expensive vs USA
