Hi noob question, is this plug and play? Both the physical install, and the auto dimming feature working with the E46 harness and the homelink functions? I dont belive my 04 came with the homelink option though so dont know if that affects the functionality.

The first picture is the actual mirror in my car. It's a direct plug and play. Homelink should work as it's just a matter of programming since the signal is in the mirror. When you plug the compass to your car, it powers the auto-dim, compass, and homelink.

Direct plug and play. Just follow the Homelink programming instructions for your garage. Highly recommend this mirror as a purchase. I bought one when my original oval leaked. This is a major functional upgrade.
