Just out of curiosity would you mind sharing how much you paid? Trying to get an idea of the going price for a clean set.

200-500 depending on a few factors.
All LED's must work at a minimum - don't buy a set with burned out LED's. Your days are numbered with the used set you buy anyway since most tail lights are 20 years old with 100K miles +- backplate for trunk light included
- gutter guards included or in decent shape (ding on price of they’re worn out and need to be replaced)
- foam insulation included or in decent shape
- Surface level scratches, stick marks, chips in the glass all contribute to price adjustments
- Bonus - make sure there aren’t dead bugs in the housing.
