    Timing chain tensioner

Looking for a timing chain tensioner, the one on the passenger side of engine , that's uses the 32mm socket to remove.

I'm looking for that, but I was advised to buy it new.

Chain guide is not a tensioner.

Tensioner is a INA unit. I replaced mine just cause several years ago. Heads up - it's very hard to get a 32mm wrench on or socket with wrench but those socket caps (from Harbor Freight) really come in clutch for this type of job. Don't forget new crush washer(s)

Bump, I can't find a new one anywhere, most on back order.

          Is there any that's interchangeable?

Used one pulled from a good working engine will work just fine. Most here are running on their original tensioner.

Worse come to worst, I have my perfectly fine used one I could sell you. It did have like 160k on it, but no issues at all.

Brand was Rueville actually (sister company of INA). Think I paid $70 back in like 2017/2018. Looks like it's still about $70-80.

                Looks like backordered till May.

Are you sure you need a new tensioner? Might just need new crush washer if all you see is a leak.
