    I was able to get AFE to send me a carb sticker. I believe state ref checks everything (emissions - visual + OBD2, and exhaust noise (95db max for CA))

    Honestly I would lawyer up. The part I still don’t understand is how they can state ref you in California if your car and your drivers license are from other states. I don’t know what was said and recorded on the police cameras, but I really hope you didn’t say you live in California.

    Correct. I am not at all familiar of what all they check at a state ref, but I certainly will not pass a sniff test, the car is also tuned so will fail an OBD check aswell.

    Yea sorry to derail the WTB thread, but that's wild. Would be helpful for the general community to know why he pulled you over, and what else is done to your car.

    Also this is a good reminder to film every interaction you have with the police, ever. It's legal and will help you with technicalities.
