FS: Bolt in roll bar / half cage - Bayside Fabrication
Selling a bolt in roll bar / half cage for BMW E46 coupes. This fits coupe only, and is for cars without sunroof. Only slick top or if you have removed the sunroof and headliner.
This bar is new never installed, made by Bayside Fabrication in Florida, the quality is very good and it’s light for what it is at around 45lbs. The Kirk bar is over 60lbs as a frame of reference.
The material is listed as 1.625x.083 4130 Chromoly. You can buy one of these from Ben and have it shipped to LA in raw metal for ~1400 bucks and wait around 8-10 weeks for him to make it and ship it. OR you can buy this one, already here in LA, and already powder coated Prismatic gold.
I’m asking $1500 obo which I think is fair considering the cost to powder coat. Includes mounting hardware and underside mounting plates (not pictured)
Reason I’m selling is just that I’ve rethought my build and I’m going back to something a little closer to stock. A bar like this doesn’t make sense for me, it’s a very cool piece though.
I also have Racetech 4100WT seats, seat mounts, Lifeline harnesses, OMP steering wheel, hub, and some other track car bits I'm trying to get rid of, I can cut a deal if you want to take the whole lot or multiple items.
