WTB: New Valve Cover

Does anyone happen to have a spare valve cover they’d be willing to sell? NOT beauty cover!

Mine appears to have a slight bow or curve when placed on a flat surface, so I’m looking for one that sits completely flush. Let me know if you’ve got one available

They never do, they all have some warpage

Mine is not 100% flush but I guess that's why there is a thick rubber gasket between valve cover and chlinder head

I had a new one on hand as I thought mine was warped, and the cause of a leak. the new was exactly the same, so is all on the gasket, just use OE Geniuine on this people. unless you have a potato chip, then yes, replace. Mparts has one for like 70 bucks.

Thanks gents. Interesting you bought a new one maupineda and it wasn’t flush with a flat surface. Mine is just a slight bowing in the center.

I returned it but was very much the same as mine. This was when I was chasing a sipping / leaky cover.

I bought a new one for this very reason, your new valve cover will have the same "issue".

I can dig up some old pictures were I put a straight edge on my old vs. new cover and they were identical.
