WTB: SuperSprint Non-Resonated Section 2 (044013) New or Like New

Hi -

Final missing piece for this temporary supercharger setup… looking for the vacuum cleaner sounding (@tbonem3) non-resonated Section 2.

New or like new would be great. I’ve come full circle from last summer selling the entire Supersprint setup new to slowly collecting all of these pieces new, all over again…

I posted this somewhere else but it's been lost now...

After fucking with the E46 M3 exhaust extensively and running just about every combination there is, I have learned this...

Section 1 mitigates rasp

Section 2 mitigates drone

Section 3 mitigates volume

There's some overlap obviously, but for the most part this holds true... if you have a certain aspect of your exhaust you're trying to change, that's how to do it.


So, in a perfect world you'd run resonators on sections 1 and 2, and then section 3 would have a pretty minimal muffler, or ideally no muffler at all, depending on how loud you wanted it. (Or, if you wanted it to be really quiet, run something like the Dinan section 3)

Which is sort of what I'm running now... I have the full Supersprint 2.5", and I'm running resonated section 1 and 2s, and the Supersprint race section 3. I just want more volume, I want something like Rogue straightjacket but made in America and of high quality.

But yeah, my car has zero rasp or drone, it sounds fantastic.





In my opinion that would be the ultimate setup for these cars. 2.5" all the way back, resonated section 1, maybe even equal length. Then resonated section 2. Then a straight through section 3.
