Picked this up as an impulse buy recently, but have decided to stick with my current setup. These Meisterschaft exhausts have a very unique sound to them, and are somewhat hard to come by. This one is a stainless unit with 83 mm tips, made in the "GT" configuration.
Not sure what the story is with this muffler as I bought it in its current state. I have not tried to mount it up to a car and see how it fits. I'm guessing either it was on a car that was rear ended, or the section 2 got pushed into it somehow. The two pipes that lead from the section 2 into the muffler are bent downwards, and pushed into the muffler slightly. Not sure of they can be pulled back into place, or if they will need to be cut and rewelded.
The unit has some other dents throughout, both large and small. One mounting bracket was rewelded, and whoever attempted this did not do a good job. I have not test fitted this, so I am unsure if the mounting brackets are all straight, but they can be bent back in place easily. The tips look clean from the top with some minor pitting, but have some scrapes on the bottom. The plate on the bottom with the manufacturer's info is missing.
Selling as-is. I have not looked into repair options, but a custom exhaust shop should be able to fix this.
Retail on these is around $2500. Asking $600 considering the current state of the muffler. Will entertain near offers, and will ship at buyer's expense ($100-200 at a minimum). Pickup in Northern Virginia welcomed.
