For Sale: Karbonius CSL Carbon Airbox

Coming soon for sale is my Karbonius airbox and everything you need to install it properly. Some of what it’ll include:

- Airbox
- OEM CSL airline (13417833597)
- Kassel’s map sensor kit (didn’t need the full kit because I have the oem csl line)
- BMC air filter
- OEM hoses
- ECU (non-HP) with Alpha-N Tune (optional)
- IAT sensor and harness

I’m going back to the stock intake system so everything you need to run it will be included. All parts were Purchased between 2024 and early 2025. The box has less than 1k miles.

I plan to have it removed before end of week so pics will be up then. Serious inquires should send PM. Feel free to send questions my way in the meantime as well.

I know they have definitely made changes in their mold over time, just never heard off definitive versions with the Karbonius besides CSL/Race.

beats me. I agree with you that I'm only familiar with CSL/Race.

The older airboxes (2018/2019?) still utilized plastic trumpets as found in the stock intake box. The sound produced is slightly deeper in the lower RPM range, but they have since changed out the plastic trumpets for full carbon. I spoke with Karbonius about this and there is no power difference in either despite the larger, angled 6th trumpet in the rear.

My Dec. of 2019 box was available with either carbon or plastic and I opted for C.F as I didn't know any better, must have been shortly after that.

Also, they changed the mold in 2020, the air filter on mine did not seal up quite right.

They ended up sending me a piece of plastic and epoxy, ended up alight better but still not as good as the newer boxes.

Huge sound difference with plastic trumpets, you don't get the true CSL sound with CF trumpets.

Uploaded a few pre-uninstall photos for reference. I never installed the BMW Power decal on the airbox, but I do have it, and it will be included.
