I just wrote them a message on Instagram and they told me they don’t have the specs yet. Not sure why the design isn’t completed??

Just ordered! I havent been able to find a good place to keep my phone in this car. I dont even care that much about the charging feature, this is perfect for a storage spot. Charging is just a bonus.

FYI for this interested...tax is is $10 and shipping is another $25!

There are multiple speed ratings for wireless chargers.

With the phone screen off charging while running CarPlay should be no issue (assuming inductiv is using one of the faster variants). Running waze screen on might be more borderline.

    1. This will be a abs part with a machined texture to match oem finish. It will have to have a coating as there can me a inconsistent finish if left raw plastic due to thickness of certain parts (we have seen this in our e8x and e9x units) the raised parts of the tray will get the most abuse but should hold up well. We are shooting for a hard finish Vs soft touch.

we are still working on finish. I have attached a picture showing the newest version of coating

Ok great! I am new to wireless charging and heard all those horror stories. Theoretically it can damage it, but I guess the field is not strong enough. Good to know, thanks!

For what it's worth, I have my bank card in the case on my phone and wirelessly charge it daily at home and in my other car (with the case on). No issues with the card over the last 2 years.

Does anyone know how this will wire into the vehicle?

My first thought is to tap into X4545 (Eject Box [A117]) for Terminal 30 and Ground as I have wire-to-wire connectors for that black 18 pin connector, which would make it an OE install, but if they have a better idea I'm open to it.

I don't think that's a concern for me, as I never put my wallet there, but is that a thing? I've never heard of Qi chargers killing credit cards, and a casual googling doesn't pull up anything about that...
