SOLD: Brushed Aluminum Pillars/Columns Full Trim Set

I still don't know what the actual name is for this trim -- I've seen either columns or pillars used by BMW -- but it was an individual option on the e46 M3. I bought this set to replace my plain brushed aluminum several years ago and forgot about it. Still don't have time to take on this kind of swap so selling it.

It is definitely not in concourse shape. There's nicks, scratches, and dents in some areas. Even a small hole in the leading edge of the shifter surround where someone ran an aux cord. I tried to capture photos showing all of the imperfections, but it took multiple angles at times since the texture of this stuff gives a nice sheen in any light. Amazing how much it pops after a wipe down!

    $275 shipped

Noticed some of the mounting tabs were broken so I went ahead and fixed/reinforced all of them with a method that has worked well for me in the past. They're much stronger than the original 15+ year old plastic now.

Also go everything bubble wrapped and ready for shipment

Slightly off topic but free bump. What method/epoxy did you use to reinforce them? Looking to do the same for my trim

It's kind of hard to explain since I didn't take pictures, but do you see that closeup pic of the repaired tab? There is a little metal plate - it's actually the metal that grabs the trim pins in the red plastic receiver piece that mounts in the dash. I throw extras in my bag whenever I'm at a parts yard, so I had enough on hand to tear them down to the bare metal plate. Then pressed the plate all the way down on the trim pin (so it fills the area left by the broken tab) and start layering glue. I like E6000 as it is strong and maintains some flexibility. I do a thin layer over the piece, then another every 24 hours until I feel like it has plenty of base material to grab onto.
