For sale is a carbon fiber trunk lid. I do not know the brand, since it came with the car (but it looks *very* similar to the ECS brand trunk lid). Came off of a 2001 Coupe, I believe it should fit any coupe 03/2003 or earlier. The fitment was great. Came off of our wrecked track car, the trunk was not hit at all (pictures of it on the car below). The weight (with the brake lights attached) is 16.4 lbs. The trunk tail lights shown in the photos are included. The hardware and wiring from your OEM trunk transfers over to this one.

Included with the sale but not included in the photo is a un-painted (primer-only) trunk lid handle (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...le-51138244714).

I saw on the ECS site that they make a different trunk part number starting mfr date March 2003. So I figured this trunk would have the same fitment since it came off of a 2001.

So I believe if your coupe was made before March 2003 it should fit just fine.

since this is pickup only, bring your car by, we can test fit it and make sure it works.

After more research it looks like the only differences are in the lights that are installed in the trunk and the trunk lid handle. I am actually selling the trunk lid handle with the trunk itself, it still has the original primer on it. I will try and take a photo of it soon.
