Up for sale is a set of Brembo brake calipers off a Porsche 996. These are commonly used as a brake upgrade on E46 M3s, as a budget friendly BBK solution. There is a wealth of information available regarding this conversion on the forum in the threads below. In short, in addition to these calipers, adapter brackets, brake lines and ZCP front rotors will be needed to fit these on an E46 M3.
Part numbers:
Front - 996.351.425 ; 996.351.426
Rear - 996.352.421 ; 996.352.422
The calipers have 68k miles and were removed from a wrecked Porsche. Calipers have been cleaned, inspected and tested. All are in good working condition with no frozen pistons, blown seals or torn dust boots. At this mileage, a rebuild is not immediately required. Calipers are ready for paint/powder coat, and install on an E46 M3.
Front caliper mounting points have been machined 5.5 mm. Rear crossover lines have been flipped left to right and vice versa.
Cosmetically, the paint is faded and bubbling in a few places on the calipers. Most people will want to paint the calipers before install. No major damage to any of the castings.
Includes a set of nearly new pads, caliper hardware, rear pad dampeners and pad wear sensors. No front pad dampeners, but they are not necessary for use.
Asking $OLD shipped for the calipers, or $OLD picked up in Columbus, OH.
