    Good morning, yes there is enough play. There's no need to remove the filler neck or lower the gas tank. Pretty easy install once you get the shields and large V-bracket out of the way, I thought the filler neck seal was more difficult than the hose install. I think I ended up pulling the neck out for that one lol! I'll send you a message now.
