just bought set of ap's one of the calipers had 2 wrong pistons, they were too large, worth checking before you take off the old brakes that all pistons can be pushed home, this is an issue known to ap, cost me 3 days work through not having a car, worked out to be expensive brakes
But other than that how are you finding them ?? :banghead:
they are good not a lot of difference between the standards brakes with pagid 19 pads and braided hoses as far a stopping the car , but expect less fade, going for first track day in my own car at knockhill later this month hopefully i will benefits from having ap's
Hope you're well (and thanks for the PS2s... :wink
You might struggle to find 'reasonable' track insurance. The premiums will be very high (£3-500 just for the day), hardly anything is covered (ie no third party cover - which is particularly what I was after) and often a pay-out limit of only £15-20k (ok for a Caterham, less so for a £30k CSL!)
Because of all of this, you might find that most of us accept the risk and track our cars without specific track insurance. I certainly do. :smt009
