EDITED TO CLARIFY, THE ONES IN THE FORE-GROUND ARE THE ORIGINALS AND THE ONES IN THE BACK-GROUND ARE THE NEW ONES (the creamy coloured stuff on the OE ones is where they have had the mold taken from them). Not sure where to put this, so thought I would start here and then if Mark feels it belongs in the for sale section, it

Can your man replicate the plastic trim piece that goes on the side the front seats (the "L" shaped piece, plus the little plastic bit that bolts to the seat sliders (part no.3 seen in photo below)

If so and well priced I'd be interested in a pair. The stock OEM pricing for these plastic bits are just a bit over the top.

I would be interested in a set of these also if they can be copied in CF.Originally posted by NZ_M3 View PostMike

It's the same for the rear seat centre console - it's over a grand (GBP) for that bit of plastic from BMW :hahaha:. Makes the carbon one at half the price seem a veritable bargain .Originally posted by NZ_M3 View PostCorrect! Ask your parts department how much those are to buy and you'd think it's made of Gold!!!

No they are sided unfortunately! There's two pieces to each seat, the L shaped piece held in by three hex bolts and another rail trim piece that sits just under it held in by two hex bolts.Originally posted by Mike R View PostOkay, my car is finally coming back soon (got an email yesterday to say cams are on their way :supz: ), so will take a set off and send them to be molded. Can you confirm that they are identical for each seat (as in passenger and driver's set are identical)?

I noticed the plastic around the bolt holes, on the side trim for the seats which NZ_M3 refers to is rather fragile too!
Some CF versions of these would look superb and resolve the fragility issue  I'd certainly be interested in buying a couple.
Good to hear cams are on the way Mike...hopefully you'll have your car right back in time for some decent weather :-D
