        Gareth from elms has suggested reprogramming the clutch, is there anyway I can go straight for a new clutch and flywheel? My car is under warranty, has 46k on the clock and had a new gearbox @ 26k (so assuming the clutch would have been changed at this point too).

        Thanks

        Slurring of Stamford.
        You're in good hands with Gareth @ Elms :thumbs: previously of Murketts fame He and Andy P. (R.I.P.) did the reprogram & re-teach of my slightly slurry clutch back @ the begining of 2010 and it fixed the slur :thumbs: Giving it some beans, from time to time :whistle: helps maintain slur free gear changes too :thumbs:

                  Get the reset done first, and if it's not already beyond repair and you shift flat it should be ok, otherwise you'll be back in a month to get it renewed :thumbs:

                            Oh dear this is happening to mine now, funnily enough only shortly after being in for a service at Elms, typical, couldn't have gone just before rather than after!

                              mine was also on Monday then after 90 laps of Spa at S6 it now seems to have sorted itself out.

                              i think the two thinks you need to do are;

                              1. try to drive it hard regularly
                              2. try not to let slurring go on too long before you do 1.

                                Sorry to sound stupid but I have 2 questions....

                                Whats slurring (mine had a new clutch 3000 miles ago)

                                and

                                When changing gear do you lift off the throttle slightly or just leave the loud pedal alone??

                                Cheers all
                                Steve
