Try folding the back seats down to see if the squeak stops, I had a similar problem and is was play on the rear seat latch, a few foam pads did the trick.

Will try this today. Still not making any progress here!

definitely NOT the seats squeaking.

Still not sorted. has some days worse than others. I can hear the noise by pushing down on the boot on the passenger side. Seems the noise is only on that side. :banghead:

Turn the stereo up, or drive harder so you only hear the induction noise :whistle: ?

sounds like the squeaking is from excessive play is the rear left ball joint. ooh err!

Car is in BMW battersea at the moment. Steering rack also needs replacing. is this a warranty item? car is over 60k now..
