Think the RS has a wider track, caged, and stripped out more, so the GT3 non CS ( which is cage and seats ) is a more usable daily which is what I wanted, look a little silly going to meetings and getting out of harnesses !!!

Think also in addition to points below, 997 gen 1 there's no difference in power or weight so RS is not much quicker despite having a plastic rear window. Gen II RS is miles better, lighter & 20hp more than the CS or Comfort spec but you're taking big money... (4 x CSLs.. )

Great write up Daza, car looks great.. PS there's a really good thread on PH about how to tame the pendulum on these arse ended things..:hahaha:

Much difference in insurance costs vs CSL... my CSL costs me £550per year, 5000miles including 5 TD's two Euro

If I had 2 arms, there would be a GT3 on my driveway.

My 997 tip turbo, lacked a bit of drama and feel for me, which is the reason it went.

                            The GTR was soulless.

                            The Evo X were shite.

So back to a CSL to haunt Shimmy round the track:thumbs:

Best car for feel I have had was my MK Indy R, it was like wearing a sock, you felt every change in grip etc. But it kept braking, so it went.

Glad someone agree's with me Evo X = Shite!

I was browsing the Pistonheads classified's recently & those MK Indy's are value for money! Im sure you can spend mega money tricking them up but looked like cica 10k could buy you a beast!

Useless if wet. And after owning one. If you drive hard they break :banghead:

Gearbox chewed itself to pieces. Then output shaft snapped. Then it spun a shell. Piece of shit. It was fucked off quickly.

                                It was quick though.
