Michelin coming to Munich

Had confirmation today that the french main arm of Michelin want to come with us on our trip and video part of the trip before going on to video an M6 in Munich (im gonna try to persuade them to take it to Salzburg!)

Need to speak to the froggies but apparently they want to travel with one car to do the filming!!!!!

Must obviously have Michelin tyres so I am gonna suggest they drive with DUNCANR :thumbs::hahaha::bigcry:

If not, I am not sure what is the point to have them with us.

Alex, I am not going to ask any of the manufacturers for discount, I am not going to beg for goods or materials or anything.

If owners can't afford to buy their own tyres and petrol and de-icer they shouldnt come IMHO. We will be in most part paying to this trip so anybody expecting a freebee is mistaken.

I am asking people to join us that are part of the CSLs history hence Michelin, BMW, Castrol etc even maybe a designer or two or someone who worked on the production line. it's not a perfect idea but just an idea. Hopefully their joining us will have some benefits in that for instance Elms have offer mechanical support (handy for those coming along way across many orders) and also if we get a video of part of the trip or a piece in the press to make the CSL story a bit ore complete then that is good as well.

Why can't we have some ?

The subject of discount set of tyres may come up and the tyre stickers definitely will do. I just dont want it to be about or think it should be about them giving us something, but them joining in with the trip.

I failed msierably getting the stickers from Michelin UK but then at Snetterton i bumped into Protyre (Michelin Motorsport Uk tyre suppliers) and they had a bag full and gave me 8.
