Rear wheel seemed to be locking up prior.

Yeah bit of a pisser really as I caught him on our 1st flying lap so it sort of mucked up my qualifying a bit. I knew he was behind and on his 2nd flyer so pulled over on the back straight so he could get an unhindered pass. All for nothing though as he lost it under braking and spun into the gravel.

Racing in Production GTI Golf Mk5 series. Had our first race at Snet last weekend. Only 7 cars for the first race, but that will soon change. Qualified 4th, lead the first lap, then slotted into second nose to tail for the entire race until a drive shaft failed on the last lap! Info here:-

I have to say that Mk5 Golf makes an awesome race car - it's M3 pace for a third of the costs. First race is being aired on telly in about 3 weeks or so.
