I was near incomprehensible on Saturday night dinner time (sorry Dazza & G-Dog :smt108 ) When I finally arrived home @ 4 am on Monday morning after being up for 22 hours since Sunday 7 am Euro time I was positively spent. The CSL didn't miss a beat
That's fookin awesome Matt! 42 laps! :bigcry: :bigcry: :supz: Cracking effort!

All on GoodYears Eagle F1 as well :smt047 which held up remarkably well, all weekend with some strategic air pressure tweaks :hahaha:
Total of 132 Ring laps :119: for 2010 so that's the Jarheskarte well and truly paid for

Good man, ready for next year now then! How many tanks of fuel was the 42 laps!? :hahaha:

What's the 'break even' point on the year card Matt?

I don't time my self Shimmy (IMHO it's simply a recipe for disaster chasing your own stop watch, especially in the CSL ) however I've had a few passengers time me (completely unaware to me at the time) who later informed me of my efforts. The best I've managed this year was 8:15 (on the DZ02s) on couple of occasions, with some traffic. This weekend gone I was getting regular high 8 min. including a couple of cheeky 8:30s, right on the limit :smt087 of the before mentioned GY F1 road tyre.
I know these are not the BEST CSL/Ring times but if I get down to bang-on 8 minute Ring laps next year, I'll be a VERY happy man

Uhhhh don't ask about fuel :bigcry: it's a sore point of any Ring trip at the moment, with the weak £ :bigcry: Suffice to say I'm a regular visitor @ Eds Tankstelle

I think the 'break even' point for JK is about 65-69 laps (Rob & I tried to work this one out once) From then on they are FREE
