You def have mor than that to gain!Originally posted by 83SY View PostDownloaded my five best laps and picking the best sector times from each gave me a best lap of 1.18.14  (in theory)
Target for next time is to break that 1.18 mark. Do think a wider line into Redgate would improve (thanks Shim) one of my laps I did & carried 3kph more through the corner.

I've done a max/min corner and straight speed comparison between our best laps and it's very interesting.
If you have a VBox or PBox could do a better comparison:banghead:

Yeah I'll buy it and give it a try. BUT does anyone know a good mount for the rear view mirror. Do any of you use the ultra clamp or can recommend one for a normal camera and I'll get the iPhone attachment.Originally posted by 83SY View PostLooks good Bill. Are you gunna give it a try?

31psi hot, when checking after a cool down lap.Originally posted by 83SY View PostWill find out and let you know. Think 120 all round but I'm not 100%
What tyre pressures were you running?
When I checked them yesterday morning ( didn't pump them up after td ) 23psi front left the rest 24psi cold.

Going to Intrax, if you can't beat them join them:hahaha:
Don't think they make that much difference Barry, just more seat time. Don't forget only over a year ago you had a big off and I'm sure it would affect me a little

We tend to drop pressures to keep them 31-32 all round BUT tbh what you really need to do is check pyro readings across the tyre to get middle and edges within a tolerance so that's tyre is no overheating in any one spot.Originally posted by monkeycsl View PostMy pressures where 4 degrees hotter on the left side as loaded up more of the time,do you guys compensate for this by having less pressure left to right
rayer:
Depending on geo that might mean different pressures at each corner as you can't alter geo at track easily

As Barry did I set my pressures to 31PSI all round after a warm up lap.Originally posted by shimmy View PostWe tend to drop pressures to keep them 31-32 all round BUT tbh what you really need to do is check pyro readings across the tyre to get middle and edges within a tolerance so that's tyre is no overheating in any one spot.

Felt at those pressure's after about 10-12 laps (depending on traffic) my tyres went off a touch :bigcry:

The off was in a straight line. Last time at How Fast I said to you it felt wallowy, same again at Donny, maybe need stiffer springs as these are 80f 45r.Originally posted by shimmy View PostWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

If I change spring rate I might aswell change the lot as I don't know whether the Nitron dampers would cope.
