Hmm I gave Numik a hand in installing the exhaust....his didn't brake, but then again his car has a little over 60K miles on his car so its low mileage. given the mileage the metals have been under much less stress than most cars. But in general when your doing any job like that rule of thumb is replace everything so you only have to do it once.

When I did my exhaust I sprayed every bolt down, waited an hour and everything came apart perfect.

When putting it back together, don't forget anti-seize on every not and bolt that will go through temp cycling.

I'am going to bump this thread to thank Numik for saving me some frustration by providing the correct informazione regarding the gasket part numbers.

Just as an FYI for someone stumbling into this thread and as a future reference:

On RealOEM.com If you look at this link, here. The part#'s are correct.

However, if you look at this link, here. The part#'s are wrong

Im also bumping it. This also saved me huge.

Same issue at the dealers in Canada.

Thankfully I was aware of this and saved me the hassle as well. I dont know why they dont fix it.

                Thanks to the OP

I just hope you have the part numbers right(in the picture) becasue I only needed the "fiberous" gasket. not the steal ring so I only ordered one.

on real oem they list the steel ring part number as asbestos free which kind of doesnt make sense. youd think it would be for the other part number...

                I ordered 446

installing a new midpipe in the up coming weeks, and remembered this. thanks for all the links and info to everyone who contributed. luckily, i was on the midpipe page of RealOEM so part #s were good. hadn't noticed the muffler page had the wrong numbers.

Resurrecting a super old thread here, but I made the same mistake (using the part number from the muffler diagram instead of the midsection diagram), and needed the part ASAP because I tore mine. Turns out that AutoZone sells a Bosal part, # 256-014. Worked for me in a pinch, and might help someone else.
