auto + stripes + lux pkg + not-so-hot condition = keep looking. they're out there, trust me. I almost jumped on a 98 TV 4door stick with 66k miles for $9000, but it sold the day i went to put a deposit, grrr.

That reminds me of when I was looking to buy my 1985 RX-7 many years ago. Most of the used car lots and personal adds would list it as a 4 cyl., some even said 6 cyl. Now that's the kind of 'Used Car Salesman' I want to deal with.
