Thanks everyone! I'm glad you guys like the Ring photos. I do indeed offer prints, just shoot me a PM.

The M1 stole the show visually, and it was really cool to see him getting after it hard.

Oh and spent some time in Lake Oswego in the 80's.... great place back then.
Funny enough, I just wrote an article for European car about that exact subject. The Nürburgring has kind of an air of mystery surrounding it, but its really accessible in spite of the language barrier. The hardest part is deciding what car you want to drive. I would be more than happy to help if you have questions, shoot me a PM.

Also funny enough, I grew up in West Linn which is right next to Lake Oswego haha.

What Big Brake kit is that (link)?

How do you like it so far?

Thanks guys, the brakes are stock calibers powder coated gold, with Performance Friction Direct Drive V3 2-piece rotors and PFC's 08 Compound pads, PFC racing brake fluid, and Bimmerworld stainless steel lines. It's a massive improvement over stock while retaining street friendly driving. Pedal feel is the same as stock. Great bite and no noticeable fade on track. The pads do squeal a bit, though that's par for the course with racing pads. I may consider trying a street pad from PFC for normal every day driving, depending on how much the squealing annoys the wife... She hasn't ridden in the car since I did all this stuff yet lol.

Got an oil analysis from Blackstone:

Would like to know your thoughts on this. The oil sample I sent them actually had more than 3,000 miles on it, that was my mistake when filing out the form.

You're doing just about exactly what I want to do with my next M3. Props.

                    Excellent stuff!

that analysis looks good so you can count bearings out. has to be mechanical. did you change your pickup tube? you're losing pressure somewhere

Interesting production data...did not know it existed.

Mine was an April 19th of 99 car.

Thanks guys! I'm extremely nitpicky when describing paint. But honesty I don't want a car with 10/10 show car paint because I'd have a heart attack any time someone parked next to me. I think it looks great and my only REAL gripe is a fitment issue on the front and rear bumpers plus the usual dents and dings.
