Gawd, the original Dakar Gelb is such a beautiful color. Reminds me why I was such a sucker for it in '95 when I bought mine in the launch color. Good luck with build!

PS Now I'm second guessing myself ... I didn't think Dakar Gelb was available in '98, only Dakar Gelb II. Could OP please clarify the color?

Man. I can't wait to get one of those LTW wings!

Those are great wheels BTW, super light.

As M Parallel said, it's not the glove box, it's improper installation. You are doing it wrong and wood screws are NOT the fix.

            I have no screws in.

I will do some research about the proper way to replace it.

M_Parallel and Braymond posted pics describing the fix a few months back, I'll search for it after work if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Your car makes a strong case for K1s.

Looks really good man. I would raise it up a little, give yourself some more clearance, but that's subjective I guess.

                      dam dam dam..

                      very nice dakar..

everytime i see a dakar is makes be consider getting a 2nd e36M....

verrry nice - i somewhat agree on raising the front a notch... but it could still work they way you have it, with certain wheels/tires.. stylistically, i always liked ACS type 2 on dakar coupes

example, although this appears to be a lighter yellow:

                        edit:

                        this is more applicable perhaps:

Hmm I really like my k1's so far.

I was looking into perhaps racing dynamics

                            Or some mille miglia

                            I dig the simplicity.

Black Friday is around the corner, I'm starting to look for parts, ecs end turner any other good parts store that ship in Canada and have competitive pricing?

k1s are nice - ^ those are probably easier to get than the ACS too lol
