    E36 m3 rear spoiler

Are there any places/vendors to source a very close replica or oem grade rear spoiler short of just trying to find a part out. Specifically in dakar yellow if available?

I would encourage you to look for OEM only. They are not expensive. Mounting kits and light bars are also still sold by BMW.

Aftermarket look ok but the lighting on reps are prone to LED failures (poor weather sealing), and it’s a dead giveaway it isn’t real. If you're after a rep then buying a new one like linked above is your best bet.

If you add a rear spoiler, be mindful of the extra weight it puts on your trunk lid and the mounting area for the rear latch. The inner mount often breaks from people slamming the trunk and this causes stress cracks in the lower mounting screws.

Many of the images in that thread seem to be gone, but it's a common issue.

Is OEM the best way to go for the high rise LTW "style" wing? Funny enough reading this reminded me I need to fix my latch....

OEM is obviously best. Wether or not it's worth the cost premium, or you can even find one is up to you.

You need to be patient and willing to pay for it. Lester makes a nice quality replica, as well as MA shaw. The rest are garbage.

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated. Wasn't sure if the OEM stuff was even available anymore or not.
