Was afraid I might touch a nerve but hoped you had other alternatives.



It is very hard to repaint a car in a different color, it is more expensive and frankly lowers the overall value. Look on ebay for the front bumper/spoiler and IMHO paint it the original color.

but the guy i bought the car from was retired from the air force....he was in his mid 40's. i dont really think he wanted a sporty looking car, luxury package, 3 ser. bumper, mouldings.



i got a lot of work in front of me, but hopefully, by summer it will be back to lookin good.

Dude I hate to bring it up again, but I really would get that checked out to see if it's an M. The only reason I say that is a friend of mine bought a car that he thought was an M, it had every M moulding, engine looked like an M and he even had vadar seats with the M stripes, heck the vin even was from an M, but it turned out it was a 328 highly modded. like I said, I know this is pissing you off but better to be safe, then find out down the road you got a lemon. Honestly, who would de-M an M3?

i had the car looked at, i have paperwork from 1995, i have the original window sticker, along with the original pink slip, the original title, well, a copy of it, i sent it in.........and a few hundred pages of invoices that say its an M3, that enough proof for me.

you guys need more proof?





so, im gonna do the bodywork, tint it, replace the front bumper, and a rear spoiler, and a lip to the new front bumper.



Which color should i paint it.



1. Boston Green

2. Avus Blue

3. Estoril Blue

4. Dakar Yellow

5. Laguna Seca Blue

6. Technoviolet

7. Lamborghini Orange.





i can tweak any of these colors.....so for example if i want to paint my car boston green, i can throw in some pearl....will barely be noticable so there would be no need to paint door jambs and stuff.
