I was just busting on you guys. No offense meant. Just joking around. Sometimes I want to be one of the guys because the typical female is too bitchy and whiny.

      It was all in fun!!

ps astan: I wasn't yelling really, just playing. Why is it that you guys can joke around and bust on each other in these posts, but if a chick says something in a joking manor, you sometimes take it seriously?

Somehow, opinions matter when they come from women.

Guys don't take most things seriously enough, but the women keep us in check.

I'm used to being balanced out (read: yelled at) by my girlfriend.

My girlfriend not only drives stick, she also autocrosses, and has even taken the TT to the local 1/4 mile track:

                Wow, CMT...very cool.

My girlfriend wories too much about her civic to drive it hard in auto-x, but she'll probably come with me if I go this semester.

It's nice to have overlapping hobbies.

Do you take your M3 up to Epping? I have yet to take the M3 up there but I used to drag my Mustang occasionally.

Yes. Once. Where I learned that Epping can be a cruel, cruel track. A few friends, all M3 owners in varying states of decently high tune, all went up one night and had our collective asses handed to us. We couldn't run any faster than stock times! My best was a 14.3 at 96 mph, which was the dead same as a Dinan SC'd 1996 M3, Dan's Stickley-engined M3/4, and my friend Chris's E46 M3 (who finally ran a 13.9 at the end of the night). No matter what I tried, I couldn't trap over 96 mph, while the others were hitting well into the 100+ mph ranges. I also tore loose a rubber bushing in one of my aluminum shock mounts, and broke both of the bottom spring perchs on my coilovers from wheel hop trying to get out of the hole:

I chalked it up to just plain sucking at drag racing and have since let it go. :banghead: However, one guy Owen, who has a red 95 M3 with an OBDI 3.2L, was running consistent middle 13's. Owen has been bringing his cars to Epping for years, so I am sure that if it were a talent that I chose to actively pursue that I might have a shot at getting better. I guess I should be thankful that it wasn't just me who sucked that night.

My girlfriend drives an 01 330i sedan. It's an auto, and she refuses to learn to drive a manual. I guess she had a bad experience trying to drive one when she was in highschool. Good thing is that I don't have to worry about her driving the M.

My GF drives manual cars. She's got a 91 MR2 and my previous 98 prelude, both manual.. She autoxs too, but gets pissed when I'm quicker. She was bitching about getting some R compounds untill I drove her car 2 sec faster than she could.. heheh.. All in good fun though..
