I don't think the new versions of Fix-a-flat are flammable anymore. Also, every time I have used it, the tire shop just cleaned the tire out and rebalanced the wheel without a problem.

I think that some people have the wrong impression of the product.

It does take extra work to clean out the tire, but if it prevents you from haveing to change a tire in below freezing weather without gloves, then it is worth it.

Well thanks guys about the Sig, Da3bous helped with that one.

And I will look into the Fix a flat some time but right now I have other probs to deal with.... School.

The powered Lux seats and manual Vader seats weight the same at about 65 pounds. We actually took them out and weighed them during some repairs. Not sure what the powered vaders weight, but assume at least 10 pounds or so more.

Well yeah bathroom scales rock. Oh if you want your total weight of your car go to a truck weight in station and use one of there scales. And try doing this on the day when its closed because then no trucks will be going into the weight in station.

i will never remove my spare... it helps in the stability of a rear impact if it should occur...i'd rather have 40 lbs than a totalled car...

But if it is a rear end collision...someone else should be paying for it.

                    Still, I see your point.

the strength of that rear should be pretty signifcant as it is.. being circular, that spare tire spot is pretty strong.. it would take one hell of an impact to get it to bend significantly.. if it did get hit that bad, then its almost pointless to worry about something else taking the hit.. i mean from that point ur going to be doing enough to fix the car anyways. also if u got hit that bad, i think there are others things ur going to have to worry about... such as ur body.. that would really put a serious bang in there...

I have another idea for you that I leared from all of my ***** friends back in the day when I was...yes I was a *****. I didn't have stickers though, and I could easily go over speedbumps if it makes you all feel better about me. But I digress. You said you were short on funds, and you wanted to lighten your car. This won't lighten it too much, but you will get a bit of extra power. If you still have your stock airbox, you can drill holes in it, before the filter. This way, you let in more air, and you lose a few ounces of plastic. Or you could just remove the bottom part of the airbox, and the plastic pipping that comes before the air box. Maybe 1/2 pound worth of stuff, but you get more air getting to your filter/air intake. It makes it louder though

well thats great and all but that will only get you about 1 hp more. But taking out 40+ pounds will get you more. Any ways isn't the car built to take a inpack with out a spare or maybe seats out? But any ways I know what will happen if I crash, so thanks on your responces. But I will still try to make my car go faster any way i can.

Actually you will get more like 3hp. So it will make your car go faster, not to mention it is free.
