Hey Rod
Ya, I thought the same thing. And as I look for a car I notice alot of 96 and 97's that still have those wheels. I really want them on the car I get but if it comes down to buying them aftermarket I think I would rather put the money into some 18" Hamanns or just leave teh contours on.

Thanks for clarifying purple. So are the non-"motorsport" 10 spokes offered on all years. And is the only difference the fact that they don't say "motorsport". I'm not so concerned about the "motorsport" I just love the looks of that wheel.

I'm not a big fan of them...I think they make the car look older.
And don't worry, because there are people like me out there, you can probably find a car with contours and trade them for some 10 spokes straight up...but they may not be the motorsport ones.
Check out the bimmerforums tire and wheel classifieds.

No wonder I couldn't find a 97 M3 with those rims! All the 10 spoke rims I saw on 96+ M3s didnt have the Motorsport engraving on them, and I thought they were fake at the time. Stupid me, I love those rims!
Ahhh well, I actually like the 5 spoke motorsport rims like the ones you can see on clifff's bmw m3 on cardomain.
