      Okay folks,

Would this four-pot setup be better, the same or worse than my existing OEM floating Euros?

I can get them for cheep.

dude, AP's are sick. Those will blow away stock brakes, not even the same class. Those will blow away brembo kitted cars. BTW, how cheap is cheap?

Okay, so that's pretty good news.

Just to make sure I'm clear, it's your opinion(s) that the AP two piece bolted rotors, as a part of this kit, are not a significant sacrifice compared to the OEM two-piece floating rotors?

As for cheap... no, I can't get bulk sets but they're well under US$1500 for the front kit.

I don't think they are a sacrifice at all, maybe an upgrade. That is a 322mm kit correct? Thats a great deal, they retail for $2500usd here. Shipping from NZ would probably kill the deal for me.

Installing Euro Floaters here with Hawk pads and steel lines, then going to the track on Saturday....Had stock everything last time out.

I'll write a little a review if interested after this weekend.

                  Cool.

                  And they're 330mm...

I'm a staunch proponent of the Euro OEM floating rotor. I glazed (therefore ruined) a pair of US OEM's and then subsequently warped the replacement pair during track use each time. After switching to the Euro OEM floating rotor, TMS Cool-Willy pads and Dinan brake cooling kit, I experience no brake performance problems. I use the BMW stock "jurad" pads for the street though, since the TMS are rated for higher temps. Good luck.

I priced out the euro floaters at work, too bad they arn't cross drilled, my price from work is just around $115 each. Which doens't sound bad. Now, heres my question. Will the euro floaters just bolt right on to the us spec car? Or do I have to have mods... will the stock pads work, or do you recommend any other pads? I am looking for pads that'll keep my brake system nice a quiet also. The one I have now squeek like no tomorrow.. but I have no idea who makes them... I just know they are green backed.

floaters will bolt up no problem, stock pads will work just fine too. Hmm, green backed sounds like EBC Green's which are nasty. Stock pads work great, just dust a lot. Axxis ultimates or Hawk HPS are also great street pads.

Thanks for the input. I have always been fond of bmws pads, except for the fact they dust like no other... And yes, the pads on my car **** hard heh.
