This weekend, I got out and gave my baby a nice wash. I used the Mr Clean stuff, then I did some waxing, did 3 coats. I think the first one was a swirl reducer, then I put on a clear coat prep, then a gloss coat wax I think is what it was. So I just have to show my baby to people who might appreciate her. Also there was a thread about stickers. I put mine on the rear of the side skirt, and I think it looks really nice. If you are wondering, it is a clothing line the my buddies and I have started up. Also, a quick question. Is there a clear corner that matches better with the headlights? Or headlights that match better with the clear corners?

I hate to say this but, Ebay has a bunch of them, if not to buy then to get ideas. I question the quality of most things found on ebay, so watch out for that. Here are a couple that I thought would go a little better with your current headlights...

Hey, I forgot to tell you that your paint looks great. If you have some extra time you could do the same to mine.
You aren't thinking of going with the "JDM look" lights are you? If you want to go with a headlight upgrade, go with the euro's with the angel eyes, but I'd stay away from ebay for headlights. Some guys like the Hellas, but I prefer the larger look of the European projectors. Its hard to sort through all the crap out there on the market these days.

 I got to agree with you Thomas, the front clears just don't blend well with our Cosmos. Check the link below. Got these on ebay. Decent quality. No fogging. Seems to go better with OEM or Euro headlights. Got Solaris chrome bulbs as well.

I also just washed my car tonight. Tried my new Cali water blade and also experimented with the leaf blower technique for the first time. The blade is very useful for removing the large amounts of excess water but I don't think I'll use the leaf blower again, it was still pretty wet when I was done and the blower just seemed to move the water around after awhile. Additionally, I'm afraid I will get lazy and hit the car with the blower, don't want to do that. Next time I will use the blade and then clean up with a chamois or I'll get some MF towels.

I use the old fashoned way, and the one way I was taught at work, and a couple things I have picked up along the way myself. I always use a chamois, they help pick up any dirt you may have missed with your wash mit. Also, after the cars dry, Ill vaccuum the water out of hard to get places, body lines, door handles, mirrors, and even the rims.
The hardest thing I find to clean is windows. I tend to use a seperate paper towell for each window, and very little actual cleaner. Just a small amount of cleaner, and then use the dry side of the towel to get the glass nice and clean. I tried the blade at work, and it ended up scratching more paint than I liked.

Are you saying the Cali water blade scratched your finish? Did you hit it with the handle or something?
Not my finish, customer finish.. but that could have been beacuse the dude who did it used it on new paint. However, I woulnd't trust rubbing something like that on my paint anyways, only the softest material.
