This weekend, I got out and gave my baby a nice wash. I used the Mr Clean stuff, then I did some waxing, did 3 coats. I think the first one was a swirl reducer, then I put on a clear coat prep, then a gloss coat wax I think is what it was. So I just have to show my baby to people who might appreciate her. Also there was a thread about stickers. I put mine on the rear of the side skirt, and I think it looks really nice. If you are wondering, it is a clothing line the my buddies and I have started up. Also, a quick question. Is there a clear corner that matches better with the headlights? Or headlights that match better with the clear corners?

How did the Mr Clean stuff work out for you, I am interested to see actually how well it works in leaving a spot free finish.

for $20 it isn't bad. It has enough stuff for three washes, and the soap and filter can be replaced. Read the directions and it should work decently for you. Especially if you are waxing it too as it did leave a few spots, but as I waxed over the spots they disappeared. I'll even throw this out. If anybody is in the LA area, and wants to try it on thier car before buying one, stop by and you can use mine. I can only take the first person who wants to stop by since I only have enough stuff for two more washes.

31 -- kudos for really putting the time in! She's a black beauty. The only thing I'd pick up on Ebay is the front grill badge.

Couple months ago I put Maguire polish coat, so now I'll do the canuba wax...

We've had more than a week straight of rainy weather, I can't wait to wash and wax the car...

Although right now I'm still in the clouds over UCONN"S comeback win... (class of '87, way back when we were the Big East doormat)

Yes, actually. Its taken me awhile to come up with a way to clean windows nicly.

Put a small amount of window cleaner on the back window, take a nice, heavy duty paper towel, or news paper, and wipe the window down.

After that step: Do this: Which is the key part of it all:

Take a dry paper towel/news paper to the window again, which will pick up any streaks or residue left over. The paper MUST be dry. Most people end up using too much cleaner, and just spreading all the dirt all over the place...

Hope this helps. Best to do it at night, with a light behind the window, so you can see what you may have missed.

Yeah, its a pain in the rear, but do this to all the windows, outside and inside. Even if you have already washed the outside of the car. You'll come out with nice, clear windows.

Ha! Knew you'd have a suggestion.

Thanks. I have one of those microfibre pads, I'll use that for the dry wipe.
