Anyone have the genuine BMW motorsport strut brace or know of a less expensive place to get it than turner motorsports ($699)?

FYI - the original motorsport brace doesn't fit cars with ASC. I wasn't able to get it for my 98 because of that.

The JTD RSMs were a piece of cake to install...I have airtools so didn't have a problem getting the shock out, but I suspect it's not particularly difficult to loose w/o airtools. The hard part about the install is just getting the carpet back in...it's definately a quick install. One word of caution, when you unbolt the bottom bolt from the shock you should hold onto the shock itself. I didn't hold onto the first one and the RSM and shock fell on top of my head...at least they're relatively light.

If you got a lift, you can use a vertical support to support the rear suspension, and after you loosen the bolt on the lower part of the shock, let the suspension down slowly, then you won't have it fire back at ya.

          Reverend73-

The front JTD Strut Tower Bar is a good replacement for the BMW M Strut Brace especially for M3 owners with traction control.

The JTD brace is non hinged so stiffness of the chassis is greatly improved.

Here's a review of the product granted the customer has the front and rear bars installed.

            Just an update...

I have 7 front bars left and 10 more rear bars coming early May. There will be a special pricing if you get both bars.
