Aftermarket Exhaust Opinions?

I've been waiting for the UUC System U for about 3 months now. And I'm starting to think if this exhaust is worth the wait. What Im looking for in a exhaust is:

1. Sound (I like aggressive)

2. Performance (Yields a good amount power)

3. Appearance, quality, and fitment.(Don't like DTM tips)



Does the System U suit my needs, therefore I should wait for it? Or is there another exhaust out there that best fits my standards and is available at this time? Thanks in advance. Oh by the way its a 97 M3.

Maybe somebody here can give you their personal opinion though. I still have the factory exhaust.

I like the sound of the factory exhaust. Plus, its already a performance exhaust. I would only upgrade it if I did some serious mods to the engine.

from you picking the system U, i guess you want something loud. The Rogue system is about that same level, tri-fllo is close also. There is always the UUC TSE its quieter but still on the loud side. Eisenmann comes to mind also, their race system is loud also.

After listening to all those exhausts and seeing the numbers they put out on that website I think I'm going to wait for the System U. I just wish I didn't have to wait "about another week" for three months for it. Rob if you read this, honestly, how much longer untill you guys start shipping them out?

I've had both on my car... The SU is lighter and LOUDER. The AA is slightly quieter but still has a kick-ass tone to it. They both have superb workmanship. I run AA now.

UUC makes great products - good quality and pleasing to the eye. The problem however, is getting them. I've learned that the only way to get UUC products is by getting them through vendors. I'm not slamming UUC - they make a quality product and I have a couple of them in my car, but you have to go through a vendor to get stuff.

Finally installed my Remus exhaust. 100% SS so rust should not be an issue. Seems to be very well made. Has large dual tips. Once I cranked it up it had a nice low "burble" to it...very european. Once you get on it, the sound is intoxicating without being too loud or ricey. Don't know about performance gains. I'll try to post some pics soon. :dance:

I am thinking about switching to Rogue myself in the next two weeks (found a rogue for fairly cheap I think, so i can keep the sound and make a bit of money for myself)
