On saturday my old boy and i picked up a E39 M5 in estoril blue with blue and black sport interior. Outside my house now is a E36 M3 Evo and E39 M5 in Estoril Blue and i have to say the 2 cars sitting one behind another just looks f%^&ing mean.
i've only driven my E36 once since saturday, as ive been driving the M5 as much as i can. I've clocked up 600 miles since saturday on the M5 and i have to say those 600 miles are THE best 600 miles of my life. period. The M5 is f%^&ing amazing the sheer acceleration, the sheer stopping power of the thing, also it makes you feel more confident at higher speeds than the e36 but thats due to the weight.However the one thing that i love more than anything about the M5 is the Exhaust note. OH MY FU*&^NG GOD past 2500rpm theres the same sort of thunderous bellowing noise that NASCARs make at the track when they go past you at 150mph, just like the noises from Days of Thunder. the only downside to the M5 is the fuel consumption, when youve got the right foot down constantly its like the thing is just pissing out petrol i mean less than 15 MPG ??????

the only one advantage i can say for the E36 evo is that it has razor sharp agility sure the M5 can better it with sports mode on but the M5 is nearly three times as much as my M3.
by the way, when i get a digital camcorder im gonna make some kickass driving footage.
