Here is my Kenwood Unit. It doesn't match the interior colors at all, but it sounds great and has a ton of features.

Here my alpine... I like the sound (50x4 watts), except this is the older unit and I plan on upgrading soon (this is the only head unit that works with alpines older cd-changer and I was just too lazy to get a new one at the time :P)

Here is my Kenwood KDC-X579. The color matches our display perfectly. I got it with Sirius Satellite Radio setup.

I would highly recommend getting the satellite radio setup if you spend any amount of time in your car. It rules!

                  Sirius,

Is there a way to pop off the gas pedal so that you can easily access it. I'm trying to put UUC pedals on the car, and my fingers can't reach around the back side of the pedal to hold the bolt in place. Lemme know how you did that,

                  Thanks,

Thanks. Am I really missing something - I feel like a jacking ape for not getting this anyway, being beaten over the head is just salt in the wound. Thanks Sammy

The three other pedals are in (dead, clutch and brake) - its just the daggone gas pedal.

                        Thanks :banghead:

Does that Alpine have the LED color changer option ?

you can change the light to Amber, like the Rest of the lighting. Im considering an Alpine because of that. Want it all orange..

Not unless you yank up the carpet to get to the bottom part of the pedal heh. When I got the pedals and was looking over the included fasteneres (nuts and bolts), I figured out after drilling holes that one, it would be too difficult to put pedal on with the nut/bolt setup due to 1) Can't get my fingers behind the pedal where you need them 2) The bolt was too long and looked like it would interfer with the operation of the pedal in the first place.

So, I went to home depo, took the gas pedal inside and found some self-tapping screws that fit flushly into the hole.

Came back home and just screwed the pedal in. No problems since then.

The screws are for wood though, but whatever. They are : #6x3/4" screws. Small plastic box, blue lable.

                            See below:

EDIT: I don't know if the UUC pedals have the same size hole as the m-tecs do though....

Mine doesn't, newer ones do. My next alpine will be a blue/silver combo, because I like that the best.
