Does that Alpine have the LED color changer option ?

you can change the light to Amber, like the Rest of the lighting. Im considering an Alpine because of that. Want it all orange..

I just ordered the Alpine CDA 9835 from Crutchfield. It has some outrageous number of color selctions and I was assured that one would match the BMW amber. It is MP3 compatible and seems like a good deal. It hasn't shipped out yet though, so I can't help you with pics.

      PS - Thanks Sirius.

Yo FUZ, here you go and anyone else out there.

At the base of the gas pedal, center backside there is a clip.

this clip needs to be folded all the back towards the firewall.

this is plastic and part of the gas pedal so don't rip it off. I had to pry up the carpet with a screwdriver to get this thing flat, than just pull !!!!!!!

This clip is on a "V" hinge and actually goes into a hole an acts like a hold down, getting it back together is a breeze, the top of the ptal I believe there is something but I just slid it off the rod. IUt's actually eazy once you figure there is a clip...I used a mirror

        Lar

Sorry for being an ass Fuz. I just didn't understand where your question came from and thought it deserved a beating with the steel chair

No worries - it seems that I've been able to figure out the more serious problems in the car (transmissions, door rattles/sticking, etc) and then I get slammed with pedals! Even Einstein had trouble going to same house he had lived in for years (J/K). Sorry to hijack the thread!

Wait a sec! Isn't one of the key things to really modding your car to lighten it up?! And you have audacity of using a steel chair! Should have chose aluminum or CF!

:hmm:At the time I just wanted to inflict the maximum amount of pain, but you're right...must stay focused on lighter materials, so now I present you with a beating with an aluminum chair :chair:

                  KO!

Heheheh. Lets try to get back on topic shall we?

Anyone know if Alpine plans on expanding their head units to Sirius?

I would really hate to have to move away from alpine personally. Sirius has a better lineup of what I like compared to XM.

I think Alpine does XM and Kenwood does Sirius. I don't think that they do cooperative crossovers at all.
