I have done decided that I am running next time i am speeding and see a cop with blue lights behind me.....thats all I need is another ticket. My cousin is a cop, and he said his crown vic will only do 110. :tongue:

let me know how that works out for you... their cars are slow, and handle like pigs... but they have radios, lots of cars, and helicopters.

The only positive side to laser is they have to be stationary when they shoot so you have a shot at seeing them first.

From everthing that I have read, Jammers don't work - this is basically just a scam. There is no scientific proof that these are effective.

The last ticket i got was from a moving patrol with one of the speed cameras, my radar detector went crazy so i slowed down, but before I could he was done turning around. It was only an 82 in a 70, but its still a ticket. Its one of those times when you clutch the steering wheel hard, your right foot tenses up,your heart beating hard, and you almost just decide to run....

A flat black car with fold down head lights and no plate was deemed to be the best for laser invisibility.



The vette isn't flat black, but it's black, and no front plate (just haven't bothered), and fold down lights. BF had either 2 or 3 speeding tickets in it before the temp tags expired. : )

I got 2 in the first 4 months of M ownership. None with laser though. Good thing my lawyer is a long lost friend from K-12.

As I remember the black car Cougar XR7 with noyhing left reflective was able to get 3 times closer to the gun befor it was detected than the same car in white with a plate and no black tape on the chrome trim, headlights or running lights and turn signals.

Haha that's terrible advice, if you wanna run from a cop you don't do it by top speed you do it by evading them in neighborhood, backroads or if you have a truck driving into a wooded area. Cops can only go something like 120 mph legally to catch you, beyond that it's wreckless or something. Also i'd like to see your M3 outrun a helicopter
