ya mine had dvd nav as well and i guess that added to the complexity for the installer.

I don't know anything about the Alpine DVD/NAV lines. I've only had experience with their in-dash cd players.

dont phone there customer service line....I rather talk to my cat and get better help.

:haha: That's not what I would have expected from them.

oh and lets see pics of the install completed.

The head units in already.. that was plug and play hehe. I am having issues with my sub I have to debug. My factory subs are louder than my 12... so I have to figure out wtf is going on first.

I must say though, with this HU, the factory subs work about 50% better than the last HU. This MX feature they have has made it sound better. I honestly don't need another sub in the back, but since I have one, I'll get it to work heh.

The only one I have right now is this one.

I'd pass on the silver color of the stereo, not to mention the blue display.... Not to rain on your parade, it seems like all the stereo now-a-days come in silver....

Heheh. Its all a matter of personal preference. I happen to like blue/green over orange/red. I like the blue/silver trim. *shrug*

So why get a bright red car right?
