The idle speeds are hard programmed into the DME's. You can't adjust them from what I have been told.
If your idle is too low, you have other mechanical issues.

I was searching the forums regarding idle speed and came across this old post. I live in Hong Kong and have a Euro spec '94 M3 and recently the idle speed has dropped. It used to idle smoothly around 800-900rpm but lately it's been idling closer to 600rpm and I can feel it stumbling a bit at that low speed seemingly wanting to stall.
What kind of things should I look at first to resolve this problem?
