    code for radio

got an e36 m3 and don't know where to look for the radio codes. Is it in the manual?

You should have a card with the code on it, usually with the owners booklet. If not, get me the serial number from your headunit and I can hook you up.

there's a sticker on the handbook that says LocID 25176 Own.Handbook and under that are numbers 3441523. Is it one of theses?

It should be on a card that says something like Raido Code... size of a business card.

        Its a five digit number.

it's not in the manual but there's a sticker that's in the back of the manual that says LocID 25176. Also where do i get the serial number for the radio?

If you have the headunit with the long display on the bottom, not the short display in the upper left, you can turn the raido on, and hold the M button down for about 30 seconds, and the serial number should pop up.

If not, you'll have to pull the unit out and get it from the back. Its either on a white sticker, or a metal plate.

Sometimes you have to turn the unit off, then on again. Then hold it for awhile, and let go.

i've been without my radio for two weeks now after disconnecting the battery. didn't even think about the code for the radio. when i first got the car is was broken into and someone stole the owners manual so i have no idea if it was in there.

i do have a card that says bmw radio pass with the serial number on it but no radio code. i think this card might be for the cd changer in the back though. the spot on the card that could have the code is ----.

well, thanks if you can help me out
