You must mean the s/n or something else, because putting the Radio Code on the bottom of the radio is like putting your PIN# on your ATM card.

Unless some idiot wrote the code in the bottom of the unit, it won't be there. Just the s/n, p/n and other numbers.

thanks a lot for the help. By the way is the harman kardon traffic pro a good radio to upgrade to. Can it still control the cd changer?

The cd changer is an alpine changer, as is your headunit. But I don't think any of the new alpines will control the older technology.
